WHEN CAN I SART USING MY SWADDLE MAGIC™ BLANKET?

From Birth! Swaddle Magic™ blankets are intended for newborns 7lbs and over.

WHAT SHOULD MY BABY WEAR UNDERNEATH THEIR SWADDLE?

Our blankets are soft and gentle enough to be used on baby’s bare skin, or you can choose to have your baby clothed in a onesie. This will depend on the temperature in your baby’s room. A good rule of thumb is to remember a swaddle is considered a layer of clothing.

MY BABY IS BETWEEN SIZES, SHOULD I SIZE UP?

Yes. We do recommend getting the larger size, if your baby is on the cusp. 

WHEN SHOULD I STOP SWADDLING MY BABY?

You should stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows signs of rolling over. This age will vary for each baby, but can be anywhere from 4-6 months.

ARE SWADDLE MAGIC™ BLANKETS MACHINE WASHABLE?

Yes! We recommend using a low heat setting when drying your swaddle.

HOW CAN I AVOID HIP DYSPLASIA?

Hip dysplasia can be caused by improper swaddling. Swaddle Magic™ blankets come with a non-restrictive, hip healthy leg pouch which allows plenty of room for healthy hip development. Parents should refrain from using swaddles that wrap too tightly at the hips.
